Here at FBCR, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God revealed to us, and that it is without any error or contradiction of any kind. Consequently, we believe it is the primary source of God's guidance for us in this life, and reading it is a very necessary part of our growth and maturity in Christ. We therefore encourage each one of our members to be reading through their Bibles on an ongoing basis.
If you don't yet have a daily plan for reading the Bible, a good place to start is the gospel of Mark. Mark was the first gospel written and is the shortest, with just 16 chapters. If you were to read half a chapter a day (about 5 minutes of reading), you would complete the gospel in one month.
There are also many good Bible reading plans available online. Click HERE for a variety of daily reading plans, including reading through the Bible in 12 months, as well as reading the Bible from a chronological perspective.
